A Unique Learning Experience

The AHF Traveling Fellowship offers early-career orthopedic surgeons a rare opportunity to refine their technique, expand their perspective, and connect with leaders shaping the future of hip replacement surgery.

Over just 2 weeks leading up to the AHF 2026 Annual Meeting (June 4–6, 2026), selected Fellows will travel across the U.S. to observe advanced cases, exchange ideas with world-class mentors, and experience diverse surgical settings firsthand. This high-impact program compresses years of experience into just a few weeks, combining OR observation, mentorship, and participation in the world’s premier anterior hip event..

What You Will Experience

Why It Matters

  • In just 2.5 weeks, you’ll gain a depth of experience, perspective, and connection that would take years to build on your own — helping accelerate your growth, confidence, and contribution to the anterior hip community.

  • Participation in the AHF 2026 Annual Meeting, where you’ll connect with peers, mentors, and industry partners shaping the future of hip surgery.

"All in all it was an experience of a lifetime. There’s nothing like learning from someone in their own classroom. I’ve already implemented so many things into my practice, and I am forever grateful for the opportunity."
Qais Naziri, MD, MBA FAAOS

"My experience with the Anterior Hip Foundation Traveling Fellowship was truly transformative and inspiring. It provided an unparalleled opportunity to network with world-class leaders in anterior hip surgery, fostering meaningful connections and professional growth. Witnessing their practices firsthand and learning directly from the best in the field was an extraordinary, once-in-a-lifetime experience that has profoundly enriched my knowledge, skills, and perspective in anterior hip arthroplasty."
