Anterior Approach Hip Skills Lab

Through expert-guided, hands-on surgical skills training, surgeons and HCPs will learn about Smith-Nephew’s latest technologies, indications and applications for primary hip arthroplasty, with a specific focus on the anterior approach.

Participants will spend a half day training Saturday afternoon with world-renowned  faculty.

  • At the conclusion of the course, participants will be able to:

    • Evaluate current trends and innovation in anterior total hip arthroplasty.

    • Discuss the clinical benefits of pairing a shorter primary stem design with advanced bearings.

    • Appraise the role of short stems in different femoral morphologies and anterior surgical approaches.

    • Comprehend the role of a seamless and efficient instrument workflow to improve efficiencies.
