Overview

This program focuses on advancing surgeons’ skills through complex primaries and revisions with the Direct Anterior Approach.

Who should attend?

  • This course is intended for experienced DA surgeons who are looking to learn more about the latest technology and techniques for treating complex primaries and revision hip arthroplasty. 
  • It is strongly recommended that surgeons must have done at least 30 DAA cases to benefit from this course.

Why Attend Stryker’s Advanced Techniques cadaver lab?

Engage in a hands-on experience with our esteemed faculty group to gain invaluable insights across multiple stations, including:

  • Learn tips and tricks for performing a primary DA hip using Insignia and Trident II.
  • Develop an understanding of the femoral cementing technique by utilizing the Exeter stem system and its application in DA hip procedures.
  • Explore the intricacies of a revision DA hip using the Restoration Modular 115mm stem.
  • Get hands-on experience with cabling and hardware removal challenges through DA.
  • Explore how Mako Total Hip can provide surgical efficiencies for DA cases. 
  • Get hands-on with Mako Total Hip’s haptic technology while reaming and impacting. Discover how Mako can help address hip length and offset intraoperatively.
