Lab sponsors include Zimmer Biomet, Mizuho OSI and ORTHOGRID and Ziehm.

Attendance Details

Your attendance is required for the lab Thursday and the entire conference (Friday May 17th and morning of Saturday May 18th) for you to qualify for free attendance and subsequent expense reimbursement.

The Anterior Hip Foundation operates as a non-profit organization with a limited budget, supported by Orthopedic Surgeon volunteers.  We are committed to fostering education and building relationships for young surgeons entering Orthopedic Surgery.

Important Note

In past years we have experienced instances where residents and fellows accepted as lab participants have withdrawn a short time before the meeting.  This poses a challenge as the demand for places at this sought-after event consistently exceeds available slots. We urge you not to RSVP without confirmation from your Program Director that you can take advantage of this unique educational opportunity. This ensures a smooth process for both attendees and those on the waitlist.

You will be “provisionally accepted” until we receive confirmation from your Program Director endorsing your attendance for the entire meeting.

We look forward to your participation in this valuable educational experience and appreciate your understanding of these necessary steps. If you or your Program Director has any questions, or if you require additional information about the event, please email info@hipahf.com

Once again, congratulations, we eagerly anticipate welcoming you to participate in the 2024 AHF Anterior Total Hip Cadaver Lab and meeting.

Dear Program Director,

Your fellow or resident has applied for and been provisionally selected to receive an educational grant from the Anterior Hip Foundation (AHF). This grant will facilitate their attendance at the 2025 Anterior Hip Foundation meeting in Nashville, TN June 6-7, 2025. The grant includes a stipend for travel, lodging and meeting expenses.

Schedule
On June 5 s/he will participate in an instructional cadaver lab for Anterior Approach THA. This lab will be sponsored by an educational grant from Johnson and Johnson MedTech.
On 6 and 7 of June, they will attend the AHF 2025 annual meeting which will include didactic presentations, case discussions, and discussion of facilitating technologies with attendee interaction with presenters encouraged.

AHF realizes that residents and fellows are often financially challenged regarding educational meeting attendance. Consequently, AHF has secured funding to make this opportunity accessible to young surgeons.

AHF hopes that you will consider the sponsorship for attendance at this meeting valuable to your resident or fellow. We understand the importance of adhering to clinical duty time requirements and sincerely hope that you will allow your fellow or resident the opportunity to attend.

To finalize their participation, we seek your signature indicating their availability for the June 5-7, 2025, time period.

AHF is a non-profit and not affiliated with a specific commercial entity and receives funding from meeting attendees, industry sponsors and private donors. Attendance at the AHF meeting is open to all.

Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,
Joel Matta, MD
